Many leaders wished Naga people on Statehood Day

Kohima: The northeastern Indian state of Nagaland celebrates its Statehood Day on 1 December as the territory gained statehood on this day in 1963. Many prominent political leaders of the country greeted the citizens of the state on the occasion.

On the occasion of the state’s foundation day, many leaders including President Draupadi Murmu, Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge and Union Home Minister Amit Shah greeted the people of Nagaland on Friday.

“Warm greetings to the people of Nagaland on Statehood Day!” “Enriched with abundant natural resources and serene environment, Nagaland is a land of vibrant people and rich cultural heritage,” the President wrote in a post on social media platform X. I pray for the prosperity and well-being of the people of Nagaland.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi said, “Happy Statehood Day to the people of Nagaland. The state’s fascinating history, colorful festivals and cordial people are highly praised. May this day strengthen Nagaland’s journey of development and success.”

On the occasion of their Statehood Day, the Vice President greeted the people of the State, expressing his warm wishes. “Nagaland is a beautiful example of our country’s diversity, harmonious blend of tradition and modernity. I hope that the cultural tapestry of Nagaland will continue to tell stories of growth, resilience and harmony,” he said.

Additionally, Home Minister Amit Shah posted on Instagram, “Happy Statehood Day to our brothers and sisters in Nagaland. We have a rich cultural history thanks to the indomitable spirit of the people of Nagaland. I hope the state Will experience prosperity.” in future.”

Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge shared a post that read, “Happy Foundation Day to all the people of Nagaland!” A wonderful microcosm of India, Nagaland is famous for its untouched natural beauty, brave people and diverse culture and festivals.

“May various tribes and communities continue to co-exist and flourish in harmony and peace,” the leader of opposition in the Rajya Sabha said.
