Maoist party members surrender

Paderu: In 2010, Trinad and Baburao took part in a shootout in the Chandrupalli forest area. The same year he took part in a shootout in the Sudhagunta forest area of the Pappulur-Kalimela area, where an Odisha state police personnel was killed. In 2011, he was involved in the blast by pouring petrol on BSNL cell tower in Neelkamar village of Orissa state. Two Akal raids are also registered against him. Militia member Kilo Raju is also from Malkan Giri district. In 2011, he took part in the incident of blasting a BSNL cell tower by pouring petrol in Neelkamar village near Korukonda in Orissa state.


Maoist party members Killo Trinad alias Rajesh, Killo Baburao alias Sutti, militia members Killo Raju, Vantala Bhagat Ram and Pangi Sadhu of Pappuluru Dalam in Odisha state surrendered before Alluri Sitaram Raju district superintendent of police Tuhin Sinha on Tuesday.

According to the police, both Killo Trinad and Killo Baburao are residents of Chitrakonda block of Malkan Giri district of Odisha state. Both of them joined the militia in 2008 with the encouragement of Parvathi, the Dala commander of Pappuluru area Maoist party.

A Salpaderu, Maoist Party, member Kilo Trinad alias Rajesh, Kilo Baburao, Sutti, militia member Kilo Raju, Vantala Bhagat Ram, Within , he became a party member. As members of Pappuluru Dalam they participated in many crimes in Kalimela, Pappulur and AOB areas.
He also participated in 2 Akal raids. Apart from the above crimes, he used to help the party by providing food when they came around his village. Collecting people from nearby villages and taking them to Maoist meetings, pasting posters and patrolling during Maoist week are his activities.

Vantala Bhagat Ram and Pangi Sadhuno are also from Chitrakonda block of Malkan Giri district. He participated in 2 famine raids in the state of Odisha. When the team came to his village area, he used to help the team by providing food. It is their job to collect people from nearby villages and take them to meetings, stick posters.
The surrendered Maoists said that losing support for the Maoist party and disillusionment with the party’s ideology were the main reasons for their surrender. He said the party is in fear and unable to move around freely due to increased police patrolling and new police camps in Maoist-held areas.

District Superintendent of Police Tuhin Sinha said they would help the surrendered Maoists to rehabilitate them through government welfare schemes. He called for those Maoists willing to come out of the party to contact the nearest police stations or higher authorities with the help of their friends or village elders. SP praised the team of Chintapalli Additional. On this occasion, SP Pratap Shiv Kishore, GK Law CI G Ashok Kumar, Sileru SI J Ramakrishna, CRPF officer P. Suresh. Additional Superintendent of Police (Administration) P.Anil Kumar also participated.
