Married youth died in depression, was sad because of wife’s departure

Durg. In the district, a young man committed suicide after his wife went to her maternal home. After the departure of his wife, the young man had gone into depression. He didn’t talk to anyone much. His body was found hanging on Friday morning. The police is investigating the matter

Deceased’s uncle Vijay Verma told that Ravidas (25 years) committed suicide by hanging himself. He was a resident of Krishna Nagar Supela. There were parents and younger brother Jashwant in the house. Ravidas used to work in Mittal Asphalt Plant in Bhilai. About 7 months ago there was a fight between Ravidas and his brother-in-law over some issue. After that his wife along with her brother went to their maternal home Mograi Saja under Bemetara district. Ravidas had become very depressed due to the non-return of his wife. He used to wake up with friends, but was lost somewhere. On Thursday night he had dinner with the family. Was awake till one o’clock in the night talking about it. At seven in the morning, his younger brother Jashwant saw that he had hanged himself with the help of a nylon rope in a Khapra chhani. The relatives took the body down from the noose and rushed it to Lal Bahadur Shastri Hospital, where it was declared brought dead.
