A major fire broke out in a textile market. More than 20 shops in the textile complex caught fire at once. The accident took place in the Raj Textile Market in the Parvat Patia area of ​​Surat city in the state of Gujarat. The locals were in a panic as the fire suddenly broke out in the seven-storey building.

Eyewitnesses say that the fire that broke out in the elevator on the first floor of the building quickly spread to the seventh floor. After receiving information from locals, the police along with the fire brigade rushed to the scene. With the help of fire engines, they worked for four hours to put out the fire.
