Mayor to MLA Kiran Singh Dev will now take charge of Chhattisgarh BJP
Raipur. Jagdalpur MLA Kiran Singh Dev has been appointed state BJP president. Party’s National General Secretary Arun Singh has issued the appointment orders. Kiran Dev has held many positions including State Vice President. After Arun Sao became Deputy CM, there was speculation about a new appointment to the post of State President.
61-year-old BJP candidate Kiran Singh Dev comes from a princely family of landlords. Because of this, he is popular among rural voters also. His father’s name is Lakshmi Narayan Dev. He is a resident of Ward No. 25, Nadan Gali, District Bastar Chhattisgarh of Jagdalpur Municipal Corporation. He obtained B.Sc. degree from Ravi Shankar University in 1985.
