Mayor’s nephew arrested for gambling, Congress councillor also arrested by police

Bhilai news. Police arrested 10 people including a Congress councilor and the mayor’s nephew red-handed while gambling in a hotel in Durg city. Rs 34,400 was seized from their possession. Further action is being taken by registering a case against the gamblers under the sections of Chhattisgarh Gambling Act. This case is of Mohan Nagar Police Station area.

Chhattisgarh news According to the information received, gambling was going on in a room of Hotel Avilon late at night. Mayor Dhiraj Bakliwal’s nephew Yash Bakliwal, Rahul Bakliwal and other gamblers including Ward 7 Congress councilor Mandeep Singh Bhatia were betting on win or loss, which the police caught red-handed.
