MBBS student died during treatment
Bilaspur. An MBBS student from Janjgir-Champa district admitted to Apollo Hospital in Bilaspur died during treatment. He was being given blood transfusion in the hospital due to jaundice. But, the negligence was such that he forgot to put the lid of the gelco, due to which blood came out of the body and the patient lost his life. On this negligence, the relatives created a ruckus in the hospital and complained to the police alleging negligence. The case is of Sarkanda police station area.
Aman Khare’s father Parmeshwar Khare, 23, a resident of Pamgarh in Janjgir-Champa district, was a student of MBBS. Aman was studying MBBS from Ukraine. But, after the war broke out in Russia and Ukraine, Aman returned to India and started living with his family in Pamgarh. He was suffering from jaundice a few days ago, on which the relatives first admitted him to Mark Hospital, where he was being treated by putting him on ventilator when his condition did not improve. He was referred to Apollo Hospital three days back. There also he was being treated by keeping him in ventilator. He died during treatment on Wednesday. However, the Apollo Hospital management has denied negligence in the treatment. Management says that the patient’s condition was critical. That’s why he died during treatment.
