Mekahara: Security will be strict, cameras will be on every corner
Raipur: State Health Minister Shyam Bihari Jaiswal held a press conference today. During this, he informed about the important steps taken towards improving health facilities. During the press conference, Minister Bihari said that the external and internal aura of Mekahara will be beautified. CCTV cameras will be installed wherever required in the hospital and medical college. Alarm systems will be installed at many places in the hospital.
Apart from this, it will not take much time for the postmortem report to be delayed. Minister Shyam Bihari Jaiswal said in his press conference that instructions have been given to give the postmortem report in 3 to 7 days. He also informed about the plan to buy a new machine for this. This machine will help in making the postmortem processes more transparent and efficient. Continuous work is going on towards making Ambedkar Hospital a hospital of excellence, and the minister said that many corrective steps will be taken to speed up this process.
For hospital upgradation, appointments will be made to manage the heart unit hospital. The contractor of oxygen gas pipeline in DKS has been blacklisted. A proposal has been passed to buy new MRI machines in DKS which have become old. It has been decided to build a 100-room building under the Municipal Corporation as a hostel for medical students, all the facilities will be available to the general public in the coming 6 months.
In view of the recent incidents in Bengal, the minister also announced new security arrangements. 12 gunmen security personnel will be deployed to ensure security in the hospital. Apart from this, the hospital premises will be monitored through CCTV cameras and an alarm system will also be installed to prevent wrong activities.
