Middle aged man arrested for smuggling ganja in Chhattisgarh
Rajnandgaon. The police have arrested an accused who smuggled the drug Ganja and taken action. Police seized 600 grams of intoxicant ganja from the possession of the accused. According to the information received, a continuous campaign is being run by the Ambagarh Chowki police against the smugglers of illegal narcotic substances, Ganja, under the leadership of Station House Officer, Ambagarh Chowki City Inspector Brijesh Sinha.
On July 28, on the basis of information provided by the station in-charge and the staff, the police team reached Erora village and took action against the accused. Accused Akal Singh, 60 years old, was coming on foot to sell illegal hemp weighing 0.770 grams in a pink colored bale along with 600 grams of hemp cloth on the road in front of Sakin village Ihoda primary school, which was caught red-handed by the police.
