Mineral raiding action on Good Governance Day, 5 vehicles seized

Sarangarh Bilaigarh. On the occasion of Good Governance Day, as per the instructions of Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai and under the direction of Collector Dr. Fariha Alam Siddiqui, Kosir, Sarsiwa, Bhatgaon and Bilaigarh areas were investigated by the Mineral Department. During surprise inspection, 02 tractors (sand) in Kosir area, 02 tractors (sand) in Sarsieva area and 01 highway (barren ballast) in Bhatgaon area were found transporting illegal minerals, 05 vehicles were seized on the spot and sent to the police station till further action. The charge was handed over to Kosir, Sarsiwa and Bhatgaon. The investigation team included mining officers HD Bhardwaj, Deepak Patel, Lakshminarayan Ghritalhare.
