Minor raped on the pretext of marriage

Kanker : The accused, who lured a minor away on the pretext of marriage and forcibly raped her, was arrested from Mana Camp in Raipur. Pakhanjur police took immediate action and handed over the minor to the guardian, while the accused has been arrested. According to the information received from the police, the applicant came to the police station and lodged a report that between 8 pm on 3rd November and midnight on 4th November, the applicant’s minor daughter was kidnapped from her house by some unknown person. On the report, Section 363 IPC in Pakhanjoor police station. It was registered and taken into consideration.

During the search, after receiving information that the kidnapper was believed to be in Mana Camp Raipur, a police team was prepared and sent to Mana Camp Raipur to search for the whereabouts of the kidnapper and the accused. On information, the police team reached Jaidev Mandal’s house and raided. Where the minor abductor was recovered from the possession of the accused, a case was registered against the accused and the Pakhanjoor police arrested him on the charges of luring the minor away and raping him. The minor was handed over to the guardian.
