Minor stabbed to death in Delhi, 5 arrested
New Delhi (IANS). A 19-year-old minor was stabbed to death by a group of people in Delhi, while another was injured. The police gave this information on Friday.
According to the police, two PCR calls were received in connection with the attack at 9:17 pm on Thursday. After this a police team was sent to the spot. Later the injured were admitted to GTB Hospital. Where doctors declared a person dead. And, the other is undergoing treatment.
The deceased has been identified as Harshit Bhardwaj, a resident of Bhopura, while the injured has been identified as Shadab, a resident of Seemapuri, said a senior police officer. During preliminary investigation, it was revealed that Harshit’s younger brother, who is in class 10th, had an altercation with another minor over some derogatory messages.
They had a fight on Wednesday in which Harshit’s brother and another minor slapped each other, the officer said. There was a fight again on this matter, in which Harshit and Shadab got stabbed.
The officer said that we have nabbed five accused and further investigation is on. There is no communal angle in the case.
