Miscreant entered the wedding ceremony with drugs, stole cash and jewelry

Korba: During a wedding ceremony in the district, 50 thousand cash and gold-silver jewelry were stolen. Unknown thieves sprayed drugs at night. Due to which the guests could not get up. When the bride tried to stop them, they beat her and ran away. The incident is of Manakpur Chowki area.

According to the information, the wedding of Sitamani resident Ravi Yadav’s sister Pooja Yadav was going on in the community hall located in Sharda Vihar. There was a turmeric program on July 10. After the turmeric program, the family and guests slept inside the building and in the pandal. All the guests’ bags and sacks were kept in a room.

The bride Pooja Yadav told that, on Wednesday night at around 2 o’clock, the whole family was sleeping. During this time she heard some sound. When she went to the room and looked, a young man was running away hiding his face. When I tried to catch him, he beat me up. When I started screaming, he ran away.
