Miscreants looted mobile from B.Tech student riding auto, The snatch fell on the road in one fell swoop
Ghaziabad: Bike riding miscreants tried to snatch the mobile phone of a B.Tech student who was returning home from Ghaziabad to Hapur in an auto. During this snatching, the student fell down from the auto on the road and was dragged for a long distance. After this the student has been admitted to Yashoda Hospital in Ghaziabad. Where his condition remains critical.
Actually, Kirti Singh, resident of Pannapuri in Hapur city, is a first year B.Tech student in ABSE Engineering College, Ghaziabad. On Friday, Kirti was returning home from college in an auto with her friend Diksha. Two miscreants riding a bike followed near Dasna flyover in Mussoorie police station area on Delhi-Lucknow highway.
He slowed down his bike at par with the auto and tried to snatch the mobile from Kirti’s hand. Kirti did not leave her mobile and clashed with the miscreants. In this snatching, she fell down from the auto on the road. She was dragged for about 15 metres. This caused injury to his head.
However, by then the miscreants had snatched the mobile and fled. The auto driver and friend Deeksha took the injured Kirti Singh to the private hospital in Pilkhuwa. Here he was diagnosed with serious head injury and after being given first aid, he was referred to Ghaziabad.
Kirti Singh is currently admitted in Yashoda Hospital Ghaziabad. According to doctors, the head injury is serious. Initially, Hapur Police reported this incident to be from Ghaziabad district. After which a case was filed on Saturday on behalf of the student’s father Ravindra Singh at Mussoorie police station in Ghaziabad. Police said that the bike number of the miscreants is being ascertained through CCTV footage. The miscreants will be arrested soon.
