Miscreants set fire to a parked car, the car burnt to ashes

Bilaspur: In Bilaspur, miscreants set fire to a parked car, due to which the car was burnt to ashes. Rs 10,000 in cash, mobile and documents kept inside were also burnt. The transporter youth was performing puja on Janmashtami. During this time his car was parked in front of the house. Then someone set it on fire.

Transporter Sumit Yadav, resident of Ashok Nagar, had gone with his family on Janmashtami last Friday night to his relative living in Kududand. He had parked the car in front of their house. Sumit and his family were busy in worship inside. Then something burning was seen outside the house.

When Sumit came out at around 9.30 pm, there was a crowd of people. His car was burning. People nearby informed the fire brigade about this incident. By the time the fire brigade reached the spot. By then the car was burnt to ashes. As soon as information about the incident was received, the police also reached the spot. On the complaint, a case of arson has been registered and investigation is being done.
