Miscreants vandalized RTO Check Post, beat up employees

Balrampur. On Monday night at around 1 o’clock, miscreants from UP created a ruckus at Dhanwar RTO check post located at Wadrafnagar in Balrampur district. The employees were beaten up and the check post was vandalized. The miscreants also broke the glass of the vehicle. Police have registered a case against the miscreants. According to the information, pickup number UP 64 BT 5888 stopped at Dhanwar RTO check post located on Chhattisgarh-Uttar Pradesh border. Two youths riding a bike reached there from behind the pickup.

Pickup driver Sahil Khan called some people from UP. In a short while, about 12 people reached the RTO check post and started beating the employees. They also broke the glass of the vehicle TN 43 W 2334 parked at the check post. They entered the office and broke the chairs. When the villagers standing outside tried to intervene, they were also beaten up. After creating a ruckus for a long time, all the youths fled towards UP. Checkpost employees Nikhil Patel and Ajay Sonsare have been injured in the incident. In this case, Basantpur police have registered a case against Sahil Khan and other accused on the complaint of the checkpost employee. Basantpur police station in-charge Chandan Singh said that the matter is being investigated. The people who assaulted are from Uttar Pradesh. Action will be taken against the accused soon.
