Modi’s reference to Shivraj regarding corruption and scam: Kamal Nath
Bhopal (IANS). In his reaction to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s attack on the opposition regarding corruption and scams, former Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh and State Congress President Kamal Nath has said that Modi’s reference could be towards Shivraj Singh Chouhan.
Reporters in the capital asked Kamal Nath that Prime Minister Narendra Modi, at a public meeting in Bhopal on Tuesday, had promised action against those involved in scams and corruption. Kamal Nath said, “He did not take the name of the Congress. He may also be referring to Shivraj Singh Chouhan.
On Prime Minister Modi’s statement that Uniform Civil Code is necessary in the country, Kamal Nath said, “Today the issues of general public are inflation, corruption, unemployment and farmers. How many people understand UCC.
Pointing to the people present there, Kamal Nath said, “Common people are standing. Ask Do you know what is UCC? Before the elections, he will do his thing, we will do our thing.
Taking a dig at the opposition, Prime Minister Modi had said that the BJP government is being formed again in 2024, due to which the opposition has been horrified. On this, Kamal Nath said, do you find me agitated.
