Monsoon session of Parliament may start from July 17
National Desk | The monsoon session of Parliament is likely to begin in the third week of July. The meeting of the Cabinet Committee on Parliamentary Affairs (CCPA) is going to be held in the next few days, in which a decision will be taken in this regard. Defense Minister Rajnath Singh will chair the CCPA meeting.
At the same time, according to sources, the monsoon session of 2023 can start from July 17 and it is likely to run till August 10. Last year in 2022, the monsoon session of Parliament started on 18 July.
One specialty of the monsoon session will also be that this will be the first session to be held in the new Parliament House. The new Parliament House is ready to host it. Prime Minister Narendra Modi had inaugurated the new building of Parliament on 28 May. All the ministers will get separate offices in the new Parliament building, while only 30 cabinet ministers and some ministers of state got offices in the old building.
