From culture to industry, stakeholders have suggested reforms for the MP budget.

Madhya Pradesh: Film actor Rajiv Verma said on Monday that the state government should abolish entertainment tax and increase the number of seats in the drama academy. He also suggested building theaters across the state to promote theater and performing arts.
Verma made these suggestions during a budget discussion chaired by Finance Minister Jagdish Deora here. Several stakeholders offered their suggestions on making the upcoming budget more effective and inclusive.
Ashutosh Singh Thakur, a member of the Madhya Pradesh Youth Commission, proposed incorporating certain provisions of the National Youth Policy into the budget. He also emphasized the need for a separate budget allocation for higher education to implement the language system.
Former CCI Chairman Siddharth Chaturvedi advocated for Ease of Doing Business reforms and the creation of a defense corridor. RBI Deputy General Manager Alka Garde stressed the need for skill training to enhance women’s income, along with the expansion of MSME clusters.
