Sheikhpura: The police have taken significant action in the high-profile Chanchala murder case in Bihar’s Sheikhpura district. Anita Kumari, the mother of the deceased, has been arrested in connection with this widely discussed case of “honor killing.” This police action has raised hopes that the victim’s family will receive justice.
The Sadar Police arrested the accused woman while she was on her way to the school where she works in Kamasi village. Anita Kumari is employed as a teacher at Sudaspur Middle School. The police took her into custody and formally arrested her following interrogation.
The deceased’s father, Bachandev Chauhan, and brother, Shubham Kumar, remain absconding in this case. The police are conducting continuous raids to locate them.
