Mother-daughter died due to current, accident happened while drying clothes
Jamshedpur. A sensational case is coming out from Jamshedpur in Jharkhand. Here two people have died due to electrocution. These two are being told in the relationship of mother and daughter. These people were going to dry clothes on the iron wire, then they died due to the current of this wire. Actually, mother daughter died in the police line of Musabani block located in Ghatshila subdivision of East Singhbhum district. Baso Soren (60 years) and his daughter Malti Soren got electrocuted here on Saturday morning around 6 am while drying clothes on an iron wire. Relatives Suman and Shabnam told about this incident that – in the morning when their grandmother was drying clothes on the iron wire, at the same time she suddenly fell unconscious as soon as she put clothes on the wire. Meanwhile, when his aunt Malti went to save him, she too got electrocuted. After getting information about this incident, the people around came with a wooden stick so that they could be separated from the electric wire. It is being told that mother and daughter are originally residents of Gudabandha block, they used to live in Musabani number one with their three daughters and two granddaughters. His elder daughter has two daughters and a son. The daughter lives and works in Jamshedpur and the son has gone to work in Hyderabad. At present, no compensation initiative has been taken from the local people. It may be known that a similar incident had happened a year ago in Musabani. In which a circle employee was electrocuted in his house. A week ago, in a departmental district level meeting, the Deputy Commissioner had described the iron wire used for drying clothes in homes as dangerous in view of the rains. Describing it as fatal, the DC had asked the Electricity Department to spread its publicity. Along with this, all the blocks have also been told to run an awareness campaign among the people. But the Electricity Department and Block Officer have not taken any initiative in this direction till now.
