Mother-in-law and father-in-law together brutally murdered daughter-in-law
Bilaspur. After a year of love marriage, when the mother-in-law and father-in-law demanded partition, they strangled their daughter-in-law to death. On receiving information about their daughter’s death, the parents demanded a police investigation. On this, the police took the body into custody and made it PM. After the murder was confirmed in the PM report, the police arrested the accused mother-in-law and father-in-law and presented them in the court. Rohit Markam (22), resident of Bandiyapara Khongsara of Belgahna area, had a love marriage with Khushboo alias Hina Yadav (19), a resident of the village, a year ago. After eight months of marriage, he went to Kawardha to earn a living. His wife Khushboo lived with her mother-in-law and father-in-law in the same village. During this time they started having disputes over domestic matters. Due to daily disputes, Khushboo started asking her husband to live separately.He also asked his mother-in-law Jethiya Bai (48) and father-in-law Bhawan Singh Markam (45) to divide the land.
They were having a dispute regarding this matter. Last Saturday also, Khushboo had a dispute with her mother-in-law and father-in-law over the same issue. After this she had food and went to her room to sleep. His dead body was found in the room in the morning. On getting information about this, Khushboo’s maternal family informed Belgahna police post and demanded investigation. On this, the police took the body into custody and made it PM. In the PM report, doctors confirmed murder by strangulation. On the basis of the doctor’s report, the police detained mother-in-law Jethiya Bai and father-in-law Bhawan Singh and interrogated them. In this they were misleading the police. On strict scrutiny, he confessed to killing his daughter-in-law by strangulation when she asked for partition. The police have arrested the accused mother-in-law and father-in-law and presented them in the court.
