Moving forward rapidly towards fulfilling Modi’s guarantee: Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai
Raipur. Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai today attended the felicitation ceremony of the newly elected MLAs of the Brahmin community organized by the Vipra Cultural Building Management Committee under the auspices of the Chhattisgarhi Brahmin Society at Samta Colony in the capital Raipur.
In the ceremony, Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma along with MLAs Sushant Shukla, Anuj Sharma and Purandar Mishra were honored by Chief Minister Sai on behalf of Vipra Samaj by presenting them shawl, quince and insignia.
Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai and Tourism and Culture Minister Brijmohan Agarwal were also felicitated by Vipra Samaj in the program. Addressing the function, Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai said that since ancient times, the Brahmin community has played a huge role in strengthening the Hindu society.
Whatever Vedas, Vedanta and other Hindu religious texts have been composed, the Brahmin community has made an incredible contribution.
Chief Minister Sai said that all sections have been taken care of in Modi’s guarantee. We are moving rapidly towards fulfilling this guarantee. This includes providing houses to 18 lakh beneficiaries under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana.
In the interest of farmers, paddy is being purchased at the rate of Rs 3100 per quintal. The irregularities in PSC are being investigated to provide justice to the students. On this occasion, Tourism and Culture Minister Brijmohan Aggarwal said that Brahmin society is an enlightened society. Their role in nation building has been commendable.
