MP CM Chauhan targets differences within Congress

Betul (ANI): Amid the ongoing political drama in poll-bound Madhya Pradesh, CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Wednesday criticized the Congress and pointed out the flaws within the party.
Criticizing the grand old party, Chouhan said the Congress has become the “Ticket Badal Congress” of the “Kapda Phad Congress”.
Chouhan’s comments came in the backdrop of Congress recently changing candidates on various seats in Madhya Pradesh and Kamal Nath’s remarks about “tearing Digvijay’s clothes” respectively.
Sharply criticizing the Congress, Shivraj Singh said, “When there was a political dispute over the ticket and people came to Kamal Nath, he said that if clothes have to be torn, then tear the clothes of Digvijay Singh and Jaivardhan Singh.” Then after tearing the cloth it became Congress.”
He said, “After this, Congress has become ‘Badal Ticket Congress’. At many places, the candidates who were given tickets have been changed. The situation of Congress is strange now. Let’s see what happens in the future.”
The Congress party on Wednesday changed candidates in four assembly constituencies for the upcoming Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections. The four constituencies include Sumavali seat in Morena district, Pipariya (Scheduled Caste) seat in Narmadapuram district, Badnagar seat in Ujjain district and Javra seat in Ratlam district.
According to the revised list, Ajab Singh Kushwaha has been elected in place of Kuldeep Sikarwar from Sumawali seat and now Virendra Belvanshi will contest from Pipariya (SC) seat in place of Guru Charan Khare. Similarly, Murli Morwal has been fielded in place of Rajendra Singh Solanki from Badnagar seat and Virendra Singh Solanki has been fielded in place of Himmat Shrimal from Javra seat.
There is a ruckus in the Congress party regarding ticket distribution.
Earlier, Kamal Nath launched a scathing attack on Congress’s staunch leader Divgjay Singh. When protesters demanding fine on Virendra Raghuvanshi gathered at Kamal Nath’s residence, he said, “I still want Virendra Raghuvanshi to be fined. I had left it to Digvijay Singh and Jaivardhan Singh, but it seems there is some misunderstanding. now you.” Boys, go and tear the clothes of Digvijay Singh and Jaivardhan Singh.”
Madhya Pradesh is one of the five states where elections will be held this year. Voting will be held in the state on November 17 and counting of votes will take place on December 3. (ANI)
