Mumbai suicide: Man commits suicide by jumping from 21st floor of Dosti Flamingo apartment
Mumbai: A 32-year-old man allegedly committed suicide by jumping from the terrace of his apartment in Versova around 2 pm yesterday. The police have registered the Accidental Death Report (ADR).
He jumped from the 21st floor of a high-rise apartment in Sewri, Mumbai. According to the police, three people have been detained for questioning.
The watchman of the building informed the police that a man, who went by the name Dosti Flamingo, had jumped from the apartment. As soon as the information was received, officials of Rafi Ahmed Kidwai (RAK) Marg police station reached the spot and took the body into their custody.
Police said, “When the youth took the tragic step, his other friends were present in his room. Police are interrogating his three friends who were present in the room. All these friends were partying till late night.”
The police is now investigating why the person took such a drastic step. The police have not recovered any kind of suicide note from the youth. Further investigation is underway.
