Municipal Corporation canceled the parking contract of Raipur Bus Terminal
Raipur. The Municipal Corporation has canceled the parking contract of the state’s first hi-tech bus terminal built at a cost of Rs 49 crore in Bhathagaon. There will be online tender for the new contract soon. Now, parking fee in the bus terminal will not be charged from those coming and going with their vehicles to pick up or drop their family members at the bus stand.
On the lines of the railway station, now only those leaving their vehicles at the new bus stand in Bhathagaon will have to pay parking fee. Similarly, the fee charged for parking of buses has been banned.
There is a relief news for the residents of the capital. Raipur Municipal Corporation has made parking free at the state’s largest interstate bus terminal.
Now, people visiting the bus stand and Municipal Corporation’s Zone-6 office will not be charged any fee for parking their vehicles at the bus stand. Also, no parking fee will be charged for parking the bus. Due to this, people who drop their acquaintances to the bus or pick up someone from the bus stand will not have to pay any vehicle fee.
