Murder committed due to old rivalry, murderer arrested
Balod. Daundi police has arrested the accused of Anwari murder case. Dharamsingh Gaikwad had filed a report that his brother Bhavsingh Gaikwad was lying dead in front of Fulsingh God’s house in Kenvatpara Anwari. He was murdered by an unknown person by hitting him on the head with a sharp weapon. On the complaint of which police station Daudi up. Sl. 222/2023 Section 302 IPC was established.
Taking the matter seriously, the team of Daundi Cyber Cell Balod police station inspected the incident site in detail and interrogated the people nearby. During the investigation, it was found that a case of molestation had been registered against the deceased Bhavsingh Gaikwad in the past
On the basis of suspicion, when interrogated the suspect Chandrashekhar father Panchu Ram Gaikwad, age 26 years, resident of village Limhatola, told that the incident happened on 09.11.2023 at around 08:00 pm, Kenvat Para was going to Limhatola from Anwari side, when Bhavsingh was found in the courtyard in front of Fulsingh Gond’s house. Gaekwad was sitting, Bhavsingh went to Chandrashekhar on Gaekwad’s call, during the conversation he started arguing over old matters, then Chandrashekhar got up and went away and after some time brought a tangia and attacked Bhavsingh with the intention of killing Bhavsingh in an old rivalry. A fatal attack was made on the head with a sword, due to which Bhavsingh died on the spot. Police arrested the accused and sent him to jail on judicial remand.
