Murder in public at the square, accused stabbed multiple times

Bhilai. Police have detained 3 accused for the murder of a youth in Khursipar Minimata Chowk. All three accused have confessed to their crime. Khursipar police is investigating and taking further action. The name of the deceased is Vijay Saav. On Sunday, near Khursipar Minimata Chowk, three youths first assaulted Vijay and then killed him by stabbing him several times with a knife.

It is being told that the deceased and the accused had campaigned vigorously for their respective parties during the elections in the past. During this time there was a dispute between them. With elections round the corner, both of them put aside the controversy and started campaigning for their respective parties, but after the elections, when they came face to face at Minimata Chowk in Khursipar on Sunday, they clashed.
Khursipar police station in-charge said that during the elections, there was a dispute between the deceased youth and the accused regarding voting in favor of their respective parties. The dispute escalated so much that both of them clashed with each other on Sunday. Meanwhile, three accused murdered the young man. The reasons for the incident are being investigated.
