Murder in wedding ceremony: Father-in-law shot in farm house, you will be shocked to know the reason

Greater Noida: Bisrakh police station has arrested the absconding accused along with his weapon who shot dead his brother-in-law at a wedding ceremony. On November 27, at the wedding ceremony of Vinod Yadav’s son Ranveer Singh’s daughter in Yaduvanshi Farm House village Bisrakh, accused Chandra Shekhar alias Shekhar Yadav shot dead his brother-in-law Ashok Kumar.

Bisarkh police station, acting on the basis of local intelligence and confidential information, has arrested Chandrashekhar alias Shekhar from the road leading to NH-24 at Tigri roundabout. A revolver 32 bore 7.65 mm, used in the incident, in which 3 live and 2 spent cartridges have been recovered from his possession.

Police interrogation revealed that Shekhar Yadav had married his daughter to Dinesh Yadav, son of deceased Ashok, in the year 2021. Since marriage, my daughter was being harassed by the deceased and Dinesh Yadav on a daily basis, due to which the daughter was living back in her maternal home for a long time.

Shekhar told the police that he had several times made respected people of the society sit and discussed the decision with Ashok Kumar, but nothing was achieved. On 27th November, my brother-in-law Ashok Kumar had come with his brothers Rohtash and Udayveer and his son Bhupendra Yadav and other family members to the wedding of the daughter of Vinod Yadav, resident of Bisrakh, Noida, where the marriage was held with the family members of my brother-in-law Ashok Kumar. During the ceremony, a huge dispute escalated, due to which Shekhar killed his Samadhi by shooting him in the head.
