Murder of transporter inside the house, police engaged in investigation
Meerut. A transporter was murdered in broad daylight inside his house in Green Village Society of Brahmpuri, Meerut. At the time of the incident, the transporter was alone at home and both the brother and father had gone to the office in Transport Nagar. When the elder brother reached home in the evening, he found the main gate of the flat open and a dead body was found inside. Police were called after giving information. It was not known who committed the murder. SOG and forensic team including SP City and CO rushed to the spot. The footage of CCTV cameras is being scrutinized.
Sunil Sharma, resident of Brahmapuri, is a transporter and has a company named Baba Transport in Transport Nagar. Both sons Rinku Sharma and Vicky Sharma sit together in the office. Sunil has been living with his family in flat number E-502 of Green Village Society on Bijli Bamba Bypass for the last one year.
On Sunday morning, Sunil Sharma and son Rinku Sharma left home for Transport Nagar. Vicky was alone at home. Rinku’s wife Vaishnavi Sharma has also gone to her home. When Rinku reached home around 6 pm on Sunday evening, he found the door of the flat open. When I looked inside, I saw that Vicky was lying dead on the sofa and blood was flowing from his head. Rinku called his father and informed him. The police were called. SP City Piyush Singh, CO Kotwali Amit Rai, forensic team, surveillance and SOG team reached the spot, investigation was started. Who committed the murder and when is being investigated. Police are checking the cameras installed from the main gate of the colony to the inside parking, lift of the building and other places.
Family members told that Vicky had faith in religion, he was studying Sanskrit and used to perform puja. Police investigation has revealed that apart from transport, Vicky used to do Tantra-Siddhi work. Vicky was fasting on Sunday and when Rinku and father left the house, he was doing puja in his room. Sunil Sharma’s daughter Yashoda alias Soni was married to Sumit, resident of Uttarakhand Enclave Burari Delhi, about four years ago. On June 20, Yashoda died under suspicious circumstances, after which Sunil Sharma’s side filed a case alleging murder. The police had upgraded the case to suicide sections. Hearing is going on in the court. Sunil Sharma told that he had brought Yashoda’s daughter Radha with him. Alleged that Sumit’s side is continuously pressurizing for a settlement in the case and it is he who has committed the murder.
