Music emperor Rashid Khan’s condition critical

Kolkata: The health condition of music maestro Ustad Rashid Khan, who is undergoing treatment at a city hospital for prostate cancer, remained critical on Sunday, an official said. He told that 55-year-old Khan is still on ventilation.

An official at the hospital where Khan is being treated told PTI, “His condition remains critical.” Our doctors are keeping an eye on him.” He said that the musician’s condition deteriorated after the cerebral attack on Friday.

Khan, who belongs to the Rampur-Sahaswan gharana, is the great-grandson of the gharana’s founder Inayat Hussain Khan.
