Muslim youth did love marriage with Hindu girl, relatives accused of love jihad

Gariaband. Sarva Samaj and Hindu organizations had called for a bandh on Tuesday in protest against the alleged love jihad and religious conversion in Gariaband district. Along with Bajrang Dal and Vishwa Hindu Parishad, local traders have also supported the city bandh. On the other hand, widespread impact of bandh was seen in many blocks including Chhura. The case pertains to village Rasela of Gariaband. According to the information received, a young woman of village Rasela is accused of abducting a young man from the Muslim community. There is also news that a Muslim youth and a Hindu girl have done a love marriage.

Let us inform that on July 6, the relatives of the girl had registered a case of kidnapping in Chhura police station. Even after 4 days have passed since the crime was registered in the case, the accused youth has not been arrested yet. Here, Gariaband SP has appealed to the people to maintain peace.
