Mysterious disease wreaks havoc on the family, swallowing the lives of 4 children

Nuh (Haryana): In Chahalka village of Tawadu sub-division of Nuh district of Haryana, there is an atmosphere of panic in the entire village due to the mysterious death of four children one after the other in the same family. While the health department team is setting up a camp in the village to check the health of all the children, the families, fearful of the situation, are sending their children to relatives to save their lives from the unknown disease. However, the cause of death of the children has not been revealed yet. The health department has sent the blood samples of the deceased children to the lab for testing.

According to the villagers, the age of the four children who died in Chahalka village is 3 to 9 years. The series of deaths in the village started on 20 October. After this, deaths started happening one after the other within a span of a few days. As of November 1, four children have died in the village. According to doctors, symptoms of vomiting, fever and stomach pain were common in children. The investigation report also revealed that the liver was not functioning properly. The patients were also treated, but their lives could not be saved.

The four children who died were from the same family. Village Sarpanch Sameem Ahmed said that all four children were cousins. The family has built a house in the fields outside the village, where a boy died on October 20. Two days later his sister also died. Both of them were complaining of vomiting, diarrhea and fever. After this two more children died.

After the death of four children in the same village, the health department has also come into action. Health of children is being checked by setting up camps in the village and medicines are being given to those children who are suffering from cough, fever and cold. To ensure that no child is left out of testing, the health department team is going door-to-door and testing children. Samples of drinking water are also being taken in the village. This is also being done to detect water borne diseases, if the water is polluted then medicine can be sprayed.

The population of village Chahalka is about 10 thousand. The people here have to go to the primary health center of village Mohammadpur, eight kilometers away from the village, for treatment. The Sarpanch has demanded from the Health Department to open a Primary Health Center in the village. Ready to give two acres of land to the department.
