Raipur: The mystery of the human skeleton found in a sack in Pacheda drain located in Dondekala adjacent to Raipur has been exposed. Police disclosed that on November 25, information was received that a dead body was lying in a sack in Pacheda drain located in Dondekala under the police station assembly area. When the joint team of the Thana Vidhan Sabha Police visited the said place, a human body and a skeleton-like skull were found outside in a white plastic bag. Long black hair was scattered around the skull and the mouth of the sack was open.
The remaining part of the unidentified human skeleton was inside the sack, which was taken to the police station assembly for investigation. On which separate statements were taken by the joint team of police after detailed interrogation of the family members including the husband of the deceased. During this time, the team members received information that Anand Singh often had disputes with his wife Sadhna Singh.
When the deceased’s husband, Anand Singh was interrogated, he tried to mislead the team members by repeatedly changing his statement, that when strictly interrogated, he could not stand his lies and ultimately the conduct of his wife Sadhna Singh. But due to suspicion, it was said that the murder was done by strangulation and with the intention of hiding the evidence, the body was stuffed in a sack and thrown near the spot of the incident.
During interrogation, accused Anand Singh told that he often had disputes with his wife Sadhna Singh regarding her conduct, that on the date of incident, there was another dispute between them on the same issue on which accused Anand Singh got angry and had sex with the deceased. He was beaten to death by strangulation and took the body in a sack in his motorcycle and threw it in the Pacheda drain in Dondekala.
