Mystery over the death of Assistant Executive Engineer in Kalahandi

The mystery of the death of engineer executive assistant Ranjit Karji has been solved, whose body was recovered from his official residence in Mukhiguda area of Dharamgarh in Kalahandi district on Friday. Ranjit was appointed to the post of Engineer Supervisor of Project Indravati.

According to sources, some of his family members had come to take Ranjit to his home in Rayagada. But after some dispute Ranjeet refused to go with him. Sources said that Ranjit was alone in his bedroom and his body was recovered this morning.

The exact cause of Ranjit’s death is not clear. He told that Ranjeet was drunk yesterday and the door of his room was locked from inside. According to reports, Ranjeet was living alone in the residence.

The exact cause of Ranjit’s death will be known only after detailed investigation.

Police started investigation and the body of the executive assistant engineer was sent to Jayapatna Hospital for post-mortem.
