Narahari Sethi replaces Bhabani Shankar Chayani as Cuttack Collector and DM

Cuttack: OAS Narhari Sethi has taken over as Collector and DM of Cuttack, replacing OAS Bhabani Shankar Chayani, reports said on Thursday.

The letter reads, “Dr. Bhabani Shankar Chayani, OAS (SS), Collector and District Magistrate, Cuttack, has been transferred and posted as Director Higher Education in place of Narahari Sethi, OAS (SAG).

The letter further reads, “Narhari Sethi, OAS (SAG), Director, Higher Education, is transferred and posted as Collector and District Magistrate, Cuttack, while Dr. Bhabani Shankar Chayani, OAS (SS) is transferred and posted as Has gone.”

Further it is worth noting that the letter mentions, “In exercise of the powers conferred under Section 20(1) of the Code of Criminal Procedure 1973 (Act 2 of 1974), the State Government appoints Narahari Sethi, OAS (SAG) Appoints. As District Magistrate in Cuttack District.
