Nashik: A massive fire broke out in a factory of Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC) in Sinnar, Nashik on Friday. Fire fighters reached the spot to extinguish the strong flames. The incident took place at the Adima Pvt Ltd factory located on the Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC) premises in Musalgaon, Sinnar.

A video of the fire shows that there is a huge fire at that place and a cloud of smoke is rising in the air.
According to reports, the fire broke out at the Edema Organics factory located on Musalgaon Sinnar Expressway at around 4 pm. Around 10 to 12 employees out of total 20 to 25 employees were present at work during the incident. Five fire tenders are reportedly present at the spot to control the massive fire. The fire also caused sporadic explosions, causing panic and chaos in the area.
Firefighters reached the spot to control the fire. The exact cause of the fire remains unclear. Fortunately, all 50 to 60 workers at the factory are said to be safe and have no injuries.
Sinnar Municipal Council officials and fire brigade reached the spot. According to reports, Sinnar Taluka Cooperative Industrial Estate Chairman Namkaran Aware, Manager Kamlakar Pote and MIDC Police Inspector Yashwant Baviskar also reached the spot.
