Naxalite of Bijapur arrested, police had kept a reward of two lakhs
Rajnandgaon. Gadchiroli Police of Maharashtra has arrested a Naxalite carrying a reward of Rs 2 lakh. The said Naxalite caught by the police is a resident of Bijapur, Chhattisgarh. Police arrested a Naxalite during patrolling operation against Naxalites who were celebrating PLGA week.
According to the information received, a search operation is going on by the security forces to deal with the violent incidents during PLGA week in Gadchiroli district. During patrolling, a suspicious person was seen near Darmancha Base Camp of Gadchiroli. The police detained the said person. During interrogation, the police identified him as Mahendra Kishtaiya. He has been active in Gadchiroli district for a long time. While in the Naxal organization, he has committed many violent incidents. Which includes robbery, arson and other criminal incidents.
