Naxalite with a reward of Rs 5 lakh surrendered

Narayanpur. Hardcore Naxalite commander Jayalal, carrying a reward of Rs 5 lakh, surrendered on Wednesday in Narayanpur district of Chhattisgarh. Parlakot was active in the Naxalite organization as LOS commander. The police was involved in several incidents including attacking the party and killing villagers.

Narayanpur Police said that surrendered Maoist Jayalal was associated with the Naxal organization for the last 17 years. Apart from Narayanpur, he has also worked with big Naxalite leaders in Kanker and Bijapur districts. ASP Hemsagar Sidar told that, fed up with the hollow ideology of Maoists, he has given up his arms. Earlier he was against development, but now he will support development. There may be many more big revelations in the inquiry.
