Naxalites again put up banners to boycott elections, force on alert
Kondagaon. Voting is to be held in Keshkal assembly of Bastar on 7th November. In such a situation, just before the voting date, Naxalites of Bastar Divisional Committee have once again registered their presence by putting up banners and posters at two places under Keshkal police station area. Not only this, Maoists have boycotted the upcoming assembly elections. Let us tell you that Bastar Divisional Committee has put up banners at Kuenmari Tirahe and village Randha on the intervening night of Thursday-Friday. Apart from this, a large quantity of different types of leaflets have also been thrown across the route. In this banner, Naxalites have appealed to the general public to oppose the upcoming assembly elections and voting. As soon as information about the matter was received, Keshkal police station in-charge Anand Soni reached the spot with his team. At present, advance action is being taken by the police by seizing banners and pamphlets from both the places.
