Naxalites created ruckus in Sukma, burnt 2 vehicles

Sukma. As the assembly elections are approaching, the activity and opposition of Naxalites has started intensifying in Bastar. The first phase of voting is to be held in Konta Assembly on 7th November.

But before this, the Naxalites are boycotting the elections at some places by issuing pamphlets and at other places by committing arson incidents. Meanwhile, late on Thursday night, Naxalites set on fire two Tata Magic vehicles returning with villagers from the weekly market Konta.

Let us tell you that out of the 12 assembly seats of Bastar, Konta assembly is the most Naxal affected area. Naxalites are continuously boycotting the elections in different ways. Now it remains to be seen how peacefully the Election Commission will be successful in conducting the voting on 7th.
