Naxalites planted IED bomb in village, soldiers saved lives
Bijapur: A villager was injured after being hit by an IED planted by Naxalites in the area. CRPF C/85 and Cobra 202 personnel acted as angels and took him to the hospital. The treatment of the injured villager is continuing in the hospital. According to the information received, Naxalites had planted explosives before the vote.
Lachhu Punem, resident of Gorjepara Pusnar, fell prey to it today. The villagers did not participate in the voting due to fear of Maoists in the area. The injured villager was taken on a stretcher from Gorgapara-Pushnar to the CRPF camp at Pusnar. After first aid at the camp, he was taken to Gangalur Community Health Center in an ambulance. After this the injured villager was referred to the district hospital for better care.
