NC is the only guarantor for public welfare: Bimla Luthra

Bimala Luthra, state vice president of women’s wing of Jammu and Kashmir National Conference, today said that NC is the only guarantee of the welfare of the people, especially women people, and if the people will pave the way for this party to enter the corridors of power in Jammu and Kashmir. , then their problems will disappear forever. ,
Addressing a meeting of women workers of the party in Kathua today, Luthra said that the National Conference is the only guarantor of the interests of the people. The NC cadre will have to maintain close contact with the people to know their problems and find ways to solve them on priority basis.
She stressed that the women’s wing has always promoted the values of the National Conference and has been like a strong pillar that has always stood with the party leadership to strengthen the party in Jammu and Kashmir.
Earlier, the District President apprised the senior NC functionaries about the pitiable situation in J&K and problems related to unemployment besides widow pension, inflation, kitchen budget and above all skyrocketing prices of essential commodities.
He criticized the BJP leadership for failing to stop inflation in the country. “The household budget is shrinking under the directionless policies of the Prime Ministers, but there is no one to improve it”, she said, adding that women are suffering the most from the unprecedented rise in prices of essential commodities.
Senior leader Satwant Kaur Dogra said that the suffering of women in Jammu and Kashmir is increasing day by day due to the endless misdeeds of the BJP leadership and its rule. He said that the present government has expertise in giving big slogans and making big promises, which cannot be fulfilled.
Senior NC leader Lakshmi Dutta said NC is a secular party and this is the reason for its popularity across the UT, unlike the BJP which has no presence in some areas. Due to lack of work among the public, BJP leaders are always afraid of defeat. He asked the party cadre to continue the good work by staying in touch with the people.
