New ideas of youth have to be included in nation building: Governor Harichandan

Raipur. Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the Develop India @2047 Ideas initiative in New Delhi today. Virtual telecast of this program was organized at Raj Bhavan. A workshop on youth voice was also organized to connect the youth with the Developed India Vision-2047. In the workshop, topics like developed India, strong Indian, prosperous and sustainable economy, good governance and security, and India in the world etc. will be discussed.

In his virtual address, Prime Minister Narendra Modi called for making this vision a mass movement to create a new India and a new world. Addressing the eminent personalities of the education world, Modi said that the role of educational institutions is to build personality and building personality leads to nation building.

Shri Modi said that today every youth should take a pledge that whatever they do, they will do it for building a developed India. Universities played an important role in spreading new consciousness for independence. Today universities have to consider that India should move forward rapidly to become developed. The youth energy of the country will have to think outside their scope to contribute to the vision of a developed India @2047.

Addressing the scholars present in the workshop, Governor Harichandan said that there is a need to work in mission mode to make India developed by 2047. It is important to invite the youth to contribute to this mission and involve their innovative ideas in nation building. The academicians of the university should think about this.

The Governor said that this is the Amrit Kaal of India. Over the years, there has been massive expansion in social and economic infrastructure through comprehensive education and universities, IITs, IIMs, medical and nursing colleges, skill development and many other schemes and policies.
