Newborn died due to oxygen cylinder not being installed, family members created ruckus
Surajpur: A two-month-old newborn has died in Surajpur District Hospital. Family members allege that this death occurred due to lack of oxygen. The family members have demanded action against the guilty hospital employees. The family members of the newborn have alleged lack of oxygen in the hospital. He says that when the family members asked for an oxygen cylinder from the hospital management at Vishrampur Health Centre, the nurse refused to give them the cylinder.
The child of Premlala Rajwade, resident of Karwa, was unwell for three-four days. The child’s health had worsened since Tuesday morning. After which the child was admitted to Vishrampur Health Centre. The child was having trouble breathing. There the doctors asked to shift the child to the district hospital Surajpur. It is also coming to light that when the family asked the doctor for an oxygen cylinder, the cylinder was not provided by the hospital staff. It is being told that the child died due to this.
