Newborn girl dies in Naxal encounter, two soldiers injured
Bijapur. Naxalite incident is to happen on the first day of the new year in Bijapur, Chhattisgarh. There has been an encounter between police and Naxalites in Gangalur area here. In this encounter, a 6 month old newborn girl died during firing and cross firing. The girl’s mother got injured in this incident. Two DRG soldiers were also injured in the firing.
This Naxal encounter took place in Mutavandi village of Gangalur in Bijapur. Two DRG soldiers were injured in this encounter. Whereas a 6 month old girl of the village died in the cross firing of Naxalites. The girl’s mother was shot in the hand. After the incident, a team of security forces is present in the village to help the victim’s family. The woman is being treated in a nearby hospital.
Two DRG soldiers have been injured in this incident. The injured soldiers are being treated in the district hospital of Bijapur. The force has been sent to the spot for searching. Search operation is going on in the area after the arrival of the force. The situation will become clearer after searching.
After this incident, security forces and Bijapur Police are claiming that many Naxalites have been shot. Bhairamgarh Area Committee Secretary Chandranna and many of its members were injured in the encounter. But how many Maoists have been injured? This has not been disclosed. Searching is going on in the area. DRG and Central Reserve Police Force personnel are conducting search operations at the encounter site. After that there can be a big revelation in this Naxal encounter.
