Newly elected MLA Sunil Soni received certificate

Raipur. District Election Officer gave certificate to newly elected MLA Sunil Soni. Sunil Soni defeated Akash Sharma of Congress by 46,167 votes. Sunil Soni got total 89,220 votes. Whereas 43,053 votes were cast in favour of Congress candidate Akash Sharma. BJP got 161 votes and Congress got 76 votes from postal ballot.

BJP also got lead in Mayor Ejaz Dhebar and Pramod Dubey’s wards. While there is festive atmosphere in BJP, there is silence in Congress Bhawan. On this, Congress leader Dhanendra Sahu said- People want money. The picture was clear from the first round itself. Sunil Soni was moving towards a decisive lead. There was no competition at all.
