newly married woman kidnapped in telangana

Hyderabad, (IANS). A newly married woman was abducted by unidentified persons in Telangana’s Bhadradri Kothagudem district on Thursday.

Unidentified persons attacked the woman’s husband and took him away. The incident took place in Kothagudem.

Naveen aka Sunny and Madhavi had a love marriage recently. Both were going in an auto-rickshaw when some people in the car stopped them.

The assailants thrashed Naveen and took Madhavi in a car. Naveen complained to the police that since it was an inter-caste marriage, his wife was abducted by his family members. The girl’s family was against this marriage.

Madhavi, who is doing MBA, had gone to college for project work with her husband. They were on their way to lunch in an auto-rickshaw when the kidnappers stopped them.

Naveen has approached the police alleging that he and his wife are in danger of life. Police has registered the case and started investigation.
