Nikki Sharma celebrated ‘Teej’, said- ‘I want a wonderful partner like Lord Shiva’

New Delhi (IANS). Nikki Sharma, who plays the role of ‘Shakti’ in the TV show ‘Pyaar Ka Pehla Adhyay Shivshakti’, says she prays to get a wonderful partner like Lord Shiva.

Nikki is celebrating Hariyali Teej on Saturday. It is the festival of the divine union of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati, which is celebrated by devotees with fasting and rituals.

Talking about the same, Nikki said: “Feeling the essence of Hariyali Teej, I am inspired by Goddess Parvati’s strong love for Lord Shiva. Like her, I am fasting on Mondays in the month of Sawan. Even though my Not married yet, I pray for a wonderful partner like Lord Shiva.

“May this special day bring love, happiness and togetherness in everyone’s life. I wish all my lovely fans a very Happy Hariyali Teej festival,” she added.

Nikki plays the character of Shakti, a young girl from Varanasi. The show explores the power of love in a contemporary Shiv-Shakti style.

Produced by Studio LSD Productions, it stars Arjun Bijlani as Shiva and Nikki as Shakti.

In the previous episode, viewers saw how Shiv is in jail and Mandira (Parineeta Borthakur) is trying to ensure that Shakthi does not reach the police station to rescue him. Manorama (Nimisha Vakharia), who is seduced by Keertan (Gaurav Taneja), stops Shakti from leaving, but somehow she manages to reach the police station in time and helps Shiva get out of jail.

He comes to know about Mandira’s real intentions.

In the upcoming episodes, viewers will witness Shakthi’s attempt to uncover Mandira’s true intentions. As the story unfolds, the viewers will be eager to see how Mandira tries to keep herself safe and find out if she can convince Shiva of her innocence.
