Nothing will be achieved by paying lip service, government should talk on facts: Jairam
Market. Leader of Opposition Jairam Thakur said that after running the government for one year, the Chief Minister cannot turn away from the public issues by taking the name of BJP every day. First, the crushers of Beas Basin were closed due to which the disaster affected people had to pay double the price of the materials used for construction work and now there is talk of opening the crushers again. Jairam said that nothing will be achieved by paying lip service, the government should talk about the facts in this case and take action against those who are guilty in this case.
Nothing will be achieved just by making statements. Jairam Thakur said these things while talking to journalists in the class booth empowerment campaign training class of Mandi BJP Yuva Morcha.
On this occasion, Nihal Chand Sharma and state coordinator of this section and state vice president Sunil Negi from Yuva Morcha and other officials were present with him. The Leader of Opposition said that the crushers were being targeted and shut down and the common man suffered losses due to this.
The teams have been given the names of the crushers by marking which crusher has to be closed and which has not. The Leader of Opposition said that now the government should stop making statements and focus on development work. The changes in the system that the government had promised after coming to power are visible in the elections of Municipal Corporation Mayor and Deputy Mayor. Apart from this, the government has also recalled the budget allocated to the municipal corporations, which is sheer injustice to the municipal corporations.
